SIFCare Lucban Chosen as Calabarzon’s (Region IV-A) Nominee for the Search for Outstanding Volunteers (SOV) by NEDA

SIFCare Lucban was chosen as Calabarzon’s (Region IV-A) nominee for the Search for Outstanding Volunteers (SOV) organized by the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA).

The annual SOV, held every December, aims to recognize the exemplary work and dedicated service of Filipino volunteers in helping people and communities across the country as well as to continuously advocate and highlight volunteerism.

SIFCare Lucban has been active in the towns of Lucban and Lucena, offering programs like the Community Assistance for Women (CAW) program, outreach programs in Sinag Kalinga Old Age Home, outreach at Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Shelter in Lucban and Lucena, monthly acupuncture community outreach in Lucban, wellness seminars, drugs seminars in universities, and GOPALAKAS feeding program for public school children.
