A Plaque of Recognition was awarded to SIFCare President Milagros A. Celeste during the BRIGADANGGAYAN 2024 event, held on March 28, 2025, at the Bauang Gymnasium, La Union. The award was presented by the Provincial Governor of La Union, Honorable Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David, and the Department of Education Region 1 Schools Division of La Union, headed by Superintendent Jorge M. Reinante.

The event served to express deep appreciation for the exemplary performance of education partners, stakeholders, and schools in Brigada Eskwela 2024, acknowledging their commitment and generosity in significantly contributing to the program’s success. SIFCare’s Gopalakas Feeding Program has demonstrated a dynamic impact in public grade schools, reaching 29 schools, benefiting 8,841 individuals, and engaging almost 500 volunteers throughout the 2023-2024 school year.

Governor Rafy conveyed her personal gratitude to SIFCare for the Gopalakas Feeding Program and the organization’s initiative to extend its outreach beyond the school setting.
