We extend our sincere appreciation to the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO) for including SIFCare in their unwavering commitment to building stronger and more resilient teams. The CDRRMO conducted a Capacity and Team Building event themed “Building Stronger Teams: Communications, Ethics, and Well-Being,” last December 18, 2023 at Ynad’s Place Hotel and Resorts Inc. at Barangay Namtutan, City of San Fernando.

Alongside other activities, SIFCare volunteers provided NADA Acudetox treatment to 42 participants. NADA Acudetox consists of the insertion of 5 small, fine, sterile, stainless needles under the surface of the skin on specific areas of the outer ear. It is based on Traditional Chinese medicine and has been proven to be effective in reducing stress, promoting mental clarity, and enhancing overall wellness.

The CDRRMO’s decision to integrate Acudetox session into their team-building brings a unique and beneficial dimension to the event. It underscores their recognition of the vital role well-being plays in building robust and cohesive teams. By incorporating holistic practices, such as NADA Acudetox, the CDRRMO demonstrates a forward-thinking approach to cultivating not just skilled, but also well and balanced team members.
