Plant-based Burgers Given for Vegan Month

SIFCare volunteers handing plant-based burgers to students.

In celebration of World Vegan Month last November, SIFCare, in partnership with Vegans of Manila, visited 10 schools on November 28 to provide nutritious meals to undernourished students. 588 plant-based burgers, Monggo burgers, were distributed during the event. This initiative aims not only to address immediate nutritional concerns but also to promote healthy eating habits from a young age.

The success of these efforts is owed to the dedicated volunteers who played a crucial role in preparing and distributing the plant-based burgers. Their commitment is helping pave the way for a healthier future for the younger generation, fostering a conscious and compassionate world.
