Recharge & Reconnect: SIFCare and Balaoan MHO Partner for Health Workers’ Well-being
The Balaoan Municipal Conference Hall became a space of appreciation and positive energy when SIFCare joined forces with Balaoan Municipal Health Office (MHO) to create a special “Recharge & Reconnect” event for Municipal Health Workers and Local Health Partners of the town, held November 18, 2025.
SIFCare as a socio-civic organization works to create happy and enlightened communities through events which directly fulfill its core mission.
The success of this event depended on the combined efforts of Balaoan MHO leadership members. SIFCare expresses its sincerest appreciation to Dr. Aica Marfil and Ma’am Jhen Navalta for their dedication to staff wellness and their role in making this event possible. The organization appreciates their willingness to explore holistic methods for stress management because it produced outstanding results.
SIFCare expresses its appreciation to Mayor Carlos Castor U. Concepcion and his office for their backing of the health workers and their recognition of their essential work. The Executive Secretary provided a message of support which demonstrated the local government’s dedication to protect the well-being of its front-line staff.
The health workers who dedicate themselves to their community service received a complete self-care experience with stress management techniques during this event. The day included three main activities which were:
Acudetox Session: The Acudetox protocol delivered by SIFCare acupuncturists brought immediate stress relief and relaxation to participants. The treatment session started with Dr. Marfil and Ma’am Navalta who received the Acudetox protocol before leading other participants to experience its advantages.
The participants learned basic breathwork methods which they could use to handle their emotional exhaustion while maintaining peace during their busy work periods.
The group learned about stress relief and calmness through a simple herbal drink preparation method which used local ingredients.
SIFCare likewise distributed its signature plant-based burgers to participants. The plant-based food distribution served two purposes because it provided sustenance while simultaneously spreading knowledge about plant-based nutrition which SIFCare promotes as a health advocacy focus.
SIFCare admires the Balaoan Municipal Health Workers’ dedication and plans to maintain its partnership with Balaoan MHO to support complete community health and enlightenment.
