SIFCare Recognized for Partnership with DMMMSU Open University System
La Union, Philippines – The Science of Identity Foundation Community Assistance for Responsible Existence (SIFCare) was honored with a Plaque of Appreciation by the Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University Open University System (DMMMSU OUS) during their 28th Foundation Anniversary and Stakeholder Appreciation Day on October 30, 2024.
SIFCare, represented by its CEO, Ma. Socorro Bismark, and Regional Coordinator, Milagros Celeste, was recognized for its significant contributions and support to the university’s mission of providing quality and accessible education.
The partnership between SIFCare and DMMMSU OUS has been fruitful, with SIFCare providing valuable wellness services to the university’s teaching and non-teaching staff. These services include complimentary acupuncture detox and meditation sessions.
Additionally, SIFCare has extended its support to the university’s Extension Service Project Tanglaw Rehabilitation Program, providing services to parolees and probationers under the Department of Justice Parole and Probation Administration.
The event was attended by various government institutions and organization, including the Provincial Government of La Union, CHED Region 1, DOJ-PPA, ITRMC, and DZAG Radyo Pilipinas Agoo. SIFCare stood out as the sole NGO present, showcasing its commitment to developing happy and enlightened individuals and communities.
Dr. Bernardo Lamadrid, Executive Director of DMMMSU OUS, Dr. Luzviminda F. Salamanca, Head of Instruction, Prof. Claudia Denise P. Barbadillo, Head of Extension Program and Ms. Ces Myra Mabalot, Head of Gender and Development Program, presented the award to SIFCare.
This recognition highlights the positive impact of SIFCare’s partnership with DMMMSU OUS and underscores the organization’s dedication to promoting holistic well-being and community development.
