A team of SIFCare volunteers consisting of Acupuncture Detoxification Specialists and a medical doctor provided free Acudetox treatments to Rosario District Hospital. Many have taken advantage of the free therapy, including medical doctors, dentists, and other non-medical hospital personnel.

The free acupuncture service under the SIFCare program Responsive Acudetox and Medicinal Alternatives treated 30+ hospital employees and some patients on July 18, 2023. The program aims to promote acupuncture and its benefits. Also, to deliver services to those needing them, such as those constantly exposed to stressful working environments.

Working conditions have always been challenging for healthcare workers due to their intensely stressful and emotional situations while caring for sick people. A lot of times, healthcare workers place the well-being of others before themselves.

The people who have received the treatment are pleased with the experience. Almost all of them have never tried acupuncture. They must experience rest, which is one of the benefits of acupuncture, to fulfill their duties for the people. One of the doctors said, “It was a nice experience. Even for a short time, we were able to rest; when will you come back?”
