First Leg of the SIFCare Nutrition Caravan Kicks Off

The first leg of SIFCare’s Nutrition Caravan started last July 14, 2017, with the theme “Sustainable Nutrition for the Environment’, at Pag-asa National High School, Dasmarinas, Cavite. It attracted 150 students from Grades 7 and 11, 38 of which also joined the Slogan and Poster making contest in wherein 3 from each category won respective prices for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

The students learned a lot during the seminar and actively participated during the question and answer portion. They also pledged to care for Mother Earth by going meatless for a day, for one week, or for a whole month. One student particularly said “SIFCare changed my life. More power to them.” In SIFCare we are hoping to change more lives as we continue this caravan to more schools.
