PUP Sta. Mesa to Adapt Ecobricks Method

Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) Sta. Mesa, Manila has recently invited SIFCare volunteers to conduct Proper Waste Management in the university by using the Ecobricks method.

Global Ecobricks Alliance certified trainers Lali Balagtas and Mike Resurreccion conducted the Ecobricks Starter Workshop last October 24.

Five hundred participants composed of students and administrative staff attended the said workshop.

Through the workshop, they said that they realized that plastic trash can be turned into functional and useful materials that will benefit their school and environment.

At the end of the program, the organizers asked the participants to take an Oath of Commitment for Mother Nature. Thank you PUP-Sta. Mesa for the warm welcome and your dedication to end plastic pollution one—ecobrick at a time.
