SIFCare Tree Planting Activities on WED 2015
SIFCare volunteers share the gifts of Mother Earth through planting of fruit trees and useful plants on World Environment Day with the theme, “Consume With Care, Let’s Do Our Share.”
Several public schools are location sites for the tree planting so that young students can benefit from the future bountiful harvest of mulberries, mountain apples, jackfruit, guavas, etc.
School children can also learn how to nurture the plants, water them, provide them organic fertilizers, remove weeds, etc. It is all a growing experience for the trees, the children and SIFCare volunteers.
The said activity will be happening simultaneously in the following areas:

(along the PNR Train Railway in between 7-Eleven and MPD Police Station 4)

Do your share by becoming a volunteer or by donating seedlings of any fruit bearing tree and/or planting tools.
